CityMD Virtual Line and Operating Hours Update

As we continue to see increased demand for COVID-19 testing and typical urgent care needs, and with your safety in mind as well as that of our team members, we are making the following operational adjustments.

 

Resuming Our Virtual Line

All CityMD locations will resume our virtual line system beginning Monday, Aug. 9. This system allows us to safely accommodate the increase in patient visits, and it provides you a more convenient experience by eliminating the need to wait in a physical line outside a CityMD location.

Adjusted Operating Hours

All CityMD locations will end patient registration one hour prior to closing beginning Saturday, August 7. Exceptions to this adjusted daily schedule include certain extended hours locations, which will end registration at 6:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays. All patients who register and/or enter the virtual line prior to a location’s registration closing time will be seen. We cannot accommodate patients who arrive after registration ends. Please be sure to check your location’s hours prior to your visit.

 

Shortening our operating hours may seem counterintuitive and isn’t an easy decision. However, the virtual line and adjusted schedule will allow our teams to deliver the best possible in-person and follow-up care every patient deserves while prioritizing everyone’s safety. These operational adjustments also aim to protect the health and well-being of our team members as they continue to respond to the elevated needs of an ongoing pandemic.
