Dr. Phillip Hew

Dr. Philip Hew is a board-certified medical physician. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York–Health Science Center and went on to earn a Physician’s Executive MBA from the University of Tennessee. 
As an intern, Dr. Hew worked at Cornell’s New York Hospital in Queens and completed his residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center, where he became Chief Resident.
In his professional career, Dr. Hew has served as clinical instructor at the Brooklyn Hospital Center, North Shore University Hospital and St. Luke’s–Roosevelt Hospital Center. He has also served as Medical Director at City College–CUNY, the Central Park Medical Unit, John Jay College of Criminal Justice and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical 
Center, where he became Director of Emergency Medicine. 
Dr. Hew is chairman of the Basic Life Support (BLS) Committee for the Regional EMS Council of NYC and Chairman of the Disaster Committee at St. Luke’s–Roosevelt Hospital Center. He is also the Captain of the NYC Marathon Medical Team and Medical Director of the JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge Annual Race. 
Throughout his professional career, Dr. Hew has received numerous awards recognizing his outstanding work and commitment to outstanding healthcare. These recognitions include two City Council Citations and the NYS Volunteer Ambulance Services’ Medical Director of the Year.
